Prospitalia Group Announces Dr. Marcell Vollmer to Become CEO
Ulm, January 11, 2022 – Prospitalia Group today announced that Dr. Marcell Vollmer is joining the company as new Group CEO, effective immediately.
Dr. Vollmer brings to Prospitalia Group extensive global leadership experience in digital transformation, procurement and a proven track record of driving transformative growth in enterprise software. The Group today comprises the business units Prospitalia GmbH, WMC Advisory, miralytik, h-trak, Pro Care Management and Wawibox.

Dr. Marcell Vollmer joins Prospitalia Group from global consulting firm Boston Consulting Group (BCG) where he was a Partner & Director based in Frankfurt, focusing on digital transformation, new business models, IT and process optimisation and reorganisation with emphasis on procurement, supply chain and operations globally. Prior to BCG, Dr. Vollmer was Chief Innovation Officer at Celonis, the global leader in process analytics. Before that, he held global senior executive positions at SAP, including Chief Procurement Officer as well as Chief Digital Officer, where he successfully led post-merger integrations, transformed a global procurement organisation and generated substantial increases in total revenue, procurement savings and employee engagement.
